Bularchus

Bularchos ( from Ancient Greek βούλαρχος boúlarchos; poetically used with literal meaning 'author of the Council ") is a Pliny the Elder mentioned ancient Greek painter, who painted a picture battle of the magnet, which was outweighed by the Lydian king Candaules with gold. Since some parts of this section are in Pliny mythological character, is not entirely clear how much of it goes back to historical facts. In Bularchos it might be so, in spite of its related figure of the legendary Candaules to have traded a real person.
