Bullas

Bullas is a municipality in southeastern Spain in the autonomous region of Murcia.

Geography

Bullas is located about 52 km from Murcia, the capital of the province on a plateau near the river Mula. The city is dominated by viticulture, but also cultivation of almonds, peaches and olives.

Attractions

In the lovely old town with town hall and typical houses will be held every first Sunday of the traditional market El Zacatín month.

The typical wine named Bullas is through the appellation DO protected.

Economy

The economy is still dominated by agriculture and viticulture. In the industrial sector, especially the solar energy in Bullas has gained importance. Through a solar park 21% of the energy itself is generated.
