Bulunsky District

The Bulunski ulus (Russian Булунский улус, also Булунский район, rajon Bulunski; Yakut улууһа Булуҥ, Bulun uluuha ) is one of the 34 Ulusse ( Rajons ) of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia ) in the north of the Russian Far East Federal District. Administrative center is the urban-type settlement on the coast of the Laptev Sea Tiksi.

Geography

With an area of ​​235,100 km ² of the Ulus is about half as large as Sweden. It is entirely north of the Arctic Circle and shows the territory on both sides of the lower Lena and their delta, to the New Siberian Islands.

Population
