Bunaken ( Indonesian: Pulau Bunaken ) is an Indonesian island located in the Celebes Sea. It is located about 3 km from the mainland of North Sulawesi near Manado. The Village Bunaken is located at the southern tip of the island, where about 900 people live.

The underwater national park of Bunaken comprises on a size of 750 square kilometers, the islands of Bunaken, Manado Tua, Siladen, Montehage and Nain. Here divers find one of the best diving areas in Indonesia.
