Bundle branch block

A bundle branch block is a malfunction in one of the bundle branch that conduct in the heart of the electrical excitation of the AV node in the right and left ventricle.

Depending on whether it is a right bundle branch block or left bundle branch block, the excitation of the heart muscle is delayed on one side. She then spreads but also from one side to the other. General disorders at the left heart are more important than the right. Since the left bundle branch a front and a posterior branch has, there is also the left anterior ( front ) and the left posterior ( rear ) bundle branch block. If the excitation conduction total disturbed by the forecourt to the conducting fibers of the chambers, one speaks against it from an AV block.

For the diagnosis of electrical phenomena at the heart of the electrocardiogram ( ECG) is particularly well suited.
