Bunk bed

As a high bed, a bed is referred to, the deck area significantly (more than about 1 meter ) above the floor, so that the area can be obtained including used as an additional living or storage space. History

Numerous instructions and tips for a loft bed can be found on the Internet. It is particularly important that if a loft bed has no support legs and is thus anchored in the wall, in Germany a permit from the Building Department is required. For rental housing, the landlord must be informed about the project in addition.

If the loft bed itself is to be built, the weight has to be calculated in the planning, which is to carry the scaffold once. Ladder and steps should be child-friendly.
