Buranovo, Udmurt Republic

Buranowo (Russian Бураново, Udmurt Брангурт ) is a village ( selo ) in Udmurtia, a republic in Russia's Volga Federal District.

In January 2011, the Selo had 658 inhabitants, of whom 123 people are employed in the education sector.

Buranowo made ​​famous by the vocal group Buranowskije babushkas who represented Russia at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2012 in Baku and took second place.
