The Bürgenstock Railway is a narrow gauge funicular railway in the canton of Nidwalden, Lucerne.

Construction

Initiator of the Bürgenstock Railway was Franz Josef Bucher -Durrer, a hotel pioneer, who owned several hotels on the Bürgenstock.
