Bürgermeista

Bürgermeista (real name Roland citizens) is a Munich musician.

Career

Roland citizens comes from Grüntegernbach at Villages northeast of Munich, and is known as a guitarist in various formations. As a studio musician played, among others, Tom Novys Welcome to the Race a guitar and recorded music for television stations.

2008 citizens wrote the song Locker macha in Bavarian dialect. He took it as a reggae song with professional studio colleagues and sent it to several radio stations. In the summer of 2009, the moderator of Munich's largest local radio stations discovered the song for his morning show and then played it from 23 June 2009 to request the handset regularly on his show. The song was number 1 on Amazon downloads in the category Reggae & Ska; other local media took notice. After a short time received Roland citizens Bürgermeista a recording contract with 313 Music JWP and a video was shot. On 21 August 2009 the song was released on CD and immediately went into the German single charts. In the second week, during the Munich Oktoberfest, the local hit even climbed into the top 40, he could hold a total of seven weeks in the charts.

It was followed by further publication, from 2010 with backing band as Bürgermeista & local councils. In June 2010 came the first album titled " Elected" in the trade.
