Burias (island)

The island Burias lies in the Sibuyan Sea and is one of the three main islands of the Philippine province of Masbate.

Covering an area of ​​417.4 km ² lived to the last census ( 2000) 76,266 inhabitants.

To the south is the island of Masbate, Ticao in the southeast. To the north, beyond the Buriaspassage, is the south-eastern part of Luzon.
