Burlington County, New Jersey
The Burlington County is a county located in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Mount Holly Township.
The Burlington County is part of the metropolitan area Delaware Valley metropolitan area called the City of Philadelphia.
Geography
The County is located in the eastern suburb of Philadelphia area on the left bank of the Delaware River, which forms the border with Pennsylvania. The Burlington County has an area of 2122 square kilometers, of which 38 square kilometers are water surface. It is bordered by the following counties:
History
The Burlington County was formed on 17 May 1694 Originalcounty. It was named after the old name of the city of Bridlington in England.
