Burlington ( Kentucky) is the administrative seat of Boone County, with 10,779 residents. The settlement covers 21.9 km ².

History

Burlington was built from 1800 from the settlement of Craig 's Camp after 1799 adopted the decision ( at the first County Court in Boone County) to relocate the county seat there. The emerging church only received the name of Wilmington, but was later renamed to ask the post office and to prevent any confusion in 1816 in Burlington.
