Burt Kwouk
Burt Kwouk, OBE ( born July 18, 1930 in Manchester, England) is a British actor of Chinese descent.
Biography
Kwouks family moved shortly after his birth to Shanghai. Kwouk starred in numerous films and television series with; his most famous role was that of the servant Cato of Inspector Clouseau in the Pink Panther series. Kwouk also played three times a supporting role in James Bond films. In Goldfinger, he played Mr. Ling, in the Bond spoof Casino Royale (1967), a Chinese General, 1968 in The Shoes of the Fisherman the Chinese head of state and in the film You Only Live Twice a character called " number 3". Since 2003 he plays as " Entwistle " in the British television series Last of the Summer Wine.
In 2011 he was raised to the peerage.
