The Busch Memorial Stadium, also known as Busch Stadium, was a 1966 to 2005 in St. Louis, Missouri, United States located multifunctional sports stadium. The stadium was permanent home of the MLB Teams St. Louis Cardinals. In addition, the NFL teams wore St. Louis Cardinals ( 1966-1987 ) and St. Louis Rams (1995 ) their home games at Busch Memorial Stadium from.

After the demolition of the stadium in 2005, the New Busch Stadium was built almost at the same place, which is, however, used only for the baseball franchise of the Cardinals.

World Series

The Busch Memorial Stadium was in six seasons, the venue of the World Series. The Cardinals wore their home games of the World Series in 1967, 1968, 1982, 1985, 1987 and 2004 in the stadium.

Naming

Busch is the surname of one of the two founders of the American brewery Anheuser -Busch, which has its headquarters in St. Louis and since the mid-1950s was the owner of the baseball team the Cardinals until 1996.
