Bushenyi District
Bushenyi is a district (municipality) in western Uganda with 723 427 inhabitants. Like almost all 80 districts of Uganda, he is named after its chief town.
Population
The residents of Bushenyi belong to different Bantu peoples, including the Ankole. Today Bushenyi district was one of the traditional kingdom.
Economy
The most important industry in Bushenyi is agriculture. Tea, coffee, bananas and dairy products are produced.
