Bushido (role-playing game)

Bushido Samurai is a role-playing game at the time of feudalism in Japan. Developers of the game are Paul Hume and Bob Charrette, publisher Fantasy Games Unlimited.

Bushido was published in 1981. The base box consisted of two books. The first book - "The Heroes of Nippon " (Heroes of Japan ) contained the rules of the game and the manual for the players. The second book, "The Land of Nippon " ( The country Nippon ) included the gamemaster information and more detailed rules.

Like other pen & paper role-playing games, the game system is based on character traits, talents, vocational classes and cultural conditions. There are cubes used in this case 6 - sided ( d6 ) and 20 - sided ( d20 ). The game is not considered a typical Hau - it game, as it tries to include the cultural background of Japan with.

Through this game the German -speaking rapper Bushido came up with his stage name.
