Business Research

Business Research ( BuR ) is a biannual English-language academic journal published by the Association of University Teachers for Business Research (VHB ) and by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft ( DFG). Its focus is on the publication of high-quality empirical, theoretical and methodological articles dealing with important issues for any of the five main areas of business administration, ie, accounting, finance, management, marketing and production / logistics / industrial computer science, . Editor in chief is Sönke Albers of the Christian-Albrechts -University of Kiel.

To ensure that only high- quality articles will be published, subject to all entries submitted a so-called peer review. It is a person-independent peer review process, which is carried out by appropriate to the particular subject area experts and must be completed successfully before a contribution to the journal is published. While the editors of BuR German or Austrian nationality are belong to members of the Editorial Board from 15 countries. The goal of the editors is to go through the review process within 70 days to notify the authors promptly the result. For the first three issues of the magazine, the average review time was 46 days and the acceptance rate stood at 20%.

BuR is a so-called " open access " journal, ie the articles published in this electronic journal are freely accessible on the website.
