Business Europe (own spelling BUSINESS EUROPE), a European employers' association based in Brussels. He owned in 2011 to 41 member associations from 35 countries.

History

Under various names, the association has existed since 1949. Until 23 January 2007 he was called the Union of Industrial and Employers' Confederation of Europe ( UNICE).

The organization consists of 60 working groups. In these groups work in 1200 experts to analyze draft legislation and EU programs and to improve from companies perspective. Business Europe remains one of the ERT ( European Round Table of Industrialists ), which works with Business Europe, sometimes to the largest lobbying organizations based in Brussels.
