Buta

Buta is a city in the north of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

It lies on a spur line of the railway line between Bumba - Mungbere Aketi and Isiro. It is also across the street and the air ( airfield ) reachable. It has 48,000 or 125 428 inhabitants according to the source. In 2005, the city was ravaged by the plague.
