Buuhoodle
Buhoodle or Buuhoodle ( alternative spelling Bohotle ) is a town in the now separated from the Togdheer region Ayn Administrative Region in northern Somalia, which is claimed by both Puntland and Somaliland. It lies on the border with Ethiopia ( Somali region ) in the Haud area.
The residents mostly belong to the Somali clan of the Darod - Dolbohanta.
Near Buhoodle was born the famous Sufi Sheikh, poet and uprising leader Mohammed Abdullah Hassan.
