Buuz

Buus (Mongolian Бууз, Buryat language Бууза, Buudsa; loanword from Chinese: baozi ) is a Mongolian dumpling filled with minced sheep Yak or beef. The meat is seasoned with onion or garlic, sometimes with fennel and other herbs and salted. In some households they are eaten with mashed potatoes, cabbage or rice.

This meat ball is placed in a small dumpling, which is steamed and open at the top. The batter absorbs water leaking from the meat fat.
