Buvaisar Saitiev

Buwaisar Chamidowitsch Saitijew (Russian Бувайсар Хамидович Сайтиев; born March 11, 1975 in Khasavyurt, Dagestan ) is a Russian wrestler. He is Olympic champion in 1996, 2004 and 2008 and multiple World and European champion in free style in the welter or middleweight.

Career

Buwaisar Saitijew was born in Khasavyurt in Dagestan, but is Chechen. He began in his hometown in 1981 with the rings. His first coach was Hamid Saitijew.
