Buzzword compliant

Buzzword Compliance (English buzzword, buzzword ' and compliance, adherence ', ' compliance ') is an ironic expression, attesting jokingly a senseless conformity with new-fangled buzzwords. The term is particularly used in Information Technology and is formed on the basis of English standards-compliant, compliance with technical standards '.

The keywords there may be either to empty words without any tangible technical meaning or to actually existing technical standards, but would be superfluous in the given context and were implemented only for marketing reasons. In a broader sense, the term can also stand for an unintelligible language.
