Style

By Night play a style that was influenced by the Swedish group Meshuggah. Their origin in the Melodic Death Metal is a further influence. The music is an intersection of modern Thrash Metal, Technical Death Metal and Hardcore Punk and Metalcore is commonly attributed. However, the group tries to strip the stigma and sees itself as a band trying to "turn own thing " her, without denying its roots in the Swedish Metal. The band sees itself as apolitical, but denounces the style of the hardcore punk scene of social ills.
