Byälven (literally " River Village " ) is a river in Sweden. It is clear from the Glafsfjorden and ends after about 40 kilometers in the Vänern. In Saffle the Byälven through the 1837 inaugurated Säfflekanal was made navigable. Thus, a continuous waterway was created in the Atlantic.
