BYD e6 (2010-2012)

The BYD e6 is an electric car from the Chinese manufacturer BYD Auto, a subsidiary of BYD Group. The vehicle has been used since 2010, particularly in taxi fleets, since the end of 2013 in Western Europe. In China, it is also used as the police cars.

Global launch

China

The first forty BYD e6 electric taxis were introduced in the city of Shenzhen in 2010.
