BYO Records

BYO Records is a record label based in Los Angeles. It was founded in 1982 by Shawn Stern and his brother Mark Stern, the then played at Youth Brigade. The third brother Adam Stern, who likewise played at Youth Brigade, not actively participate in BYO. BYO stands for Better Youth Organization, their primary focus is the distribution of punk rock. Among other things, they released records from 7 Seconds, SNFU, Leatherface, The Unseen, Throw Rag, Clit 45 and The Briefs.

In 1991, the debut album of the Neoswing band Royal Crown Revue was released on BYO Records. At this time played Mark and Adam Stern, even with this band.
