Byszyno

Byszyno [ bɨ'ʃɨnɔ ] ( German Boissin ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. It is located in the powiat Białogardzki belongs to the municipality Białogard ( Belgard ).

Geographical location

Byszyno lies on the left bank of Parsęta ten kilometers south-east of Białogard away and can be reached via the provincial roads DW 163 after Połczyn Zdrój (Bad Polzin ) and DW 169 of Bobolice ( Bublitz ). Białogard station is on the railway line Stargard - Gdańsk. Near the lake is Jezioro Byszyńskie ( Boissiner lake).

History

The farming village Boissin, formerly also called " Boytz " was mentioned in 1524, but is probably older. Belonging was until 1945 Spring jug on the right bank of the Persante.

In 1939 lived in the community comprehensive 1534.5 acres 459 inhabitants in 99 households. Most of them were employed in agriculture, some in industry ( Belgard ) and crafts. Crafts and trades were represented in Boissin by two blacksmiths, a carpentry shop and a wheelwright, also by a shoemaker and a tailor shop and the water mill turbine powered. The restaurant in the town center was not only for the town center, but also for the whole area to events of different kinds

By 1945 Boissin belonged to the district of Belgard ( Persante ). The village was formed with the communities Naffin, Ristow, Lenzen and Zarnefanz the Office Zarnefanz, which was assigned as a whole, the registry office area Lenzen. The local court area was Belgard. Last municipality mayor before 1945 was Hugo French

On 3 and 4 March, Soviet troops occupied the village, and the following autumn began the expulsion. Boissin came into Polish hands and is now considered Byszyno district of the rural commune ( gmina wiejska ) Białogard.

Church

Parish

Boissin was until 1945 a separate parish, which formed the parish Lenzen with neighboring communities Zarnefanz and Lenzen. It was in the church Belgard county in Pomerania church of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union. In 1940 among 3149 members of the congregation to the parish Lenzen, of which 549 lived in the parish Boissin.

Today Byszyno belongs to the parish of Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church.

Village Church

The Byszynoer church was built in the second half of the 19th century rectangular stone church. The gables were decorated in brick plant. The arched windows were originally taken in ornamental stones. A tower or roof riders did not exist. The bells rang inside the entrance in the gable.
