C. Anthony Anderson

Curtis Anthony Anderson (* May 29, 1940 ) is an American philosopher and Professor of Philosophy at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

C. Anthony Anderson earned his Ph.D. in 1977 in philosophy at the University of California, Los Angeles, when he worked with the seminal philosophers Alonzo Church. He also has a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Houston, which he made in 1965. There he also received his undergraduate degree in physics and mathematics.

Anderson has specialized in the years particularly in the philosophy of logic and philosophy of language. However, he is also working temporarily in other areas such as the philosophy of religion.
