C. B. Hudson

Charles Britton " C.B. " Hudson III ( born October 8, 1974 in Oklahoma City / Oklahoma) is an American musician who plays guitar on Blue October since 2000.

Life

Hudson grew up in Dallas and got his first guitar at age ten. As a child, Hudson fan of MTV and liked to listen to music from heavy metal bands to. His musical style was influenced by famous guitarists. Among them are Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson. Later, the famous jazz guitarist Norman Brown and George Benson among his influences. Hudson played in a jazz band when he visited the Lake Highlands High School. Later, Hudson moved to San Marcos, where he attended Southwest Texas State University, where in 1999 received his degree in psychology. Shortly after attaining a degree in psychology Hudson decided to make a degree in MBA, he was in the autumn of 2000.

Career

In October 2000, Hudson met by chance at Cafe Kismet Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October. Hudson took a short time later on a demo and sent it to Furstenfeld. He was from the band to audition and was invited as a lead guitarist for a concert. His first concert was held in San Marcos on December 9, 2000. In autumn 2000, Hudson was his degree in MBA and nine hours later he went to Consent to Treatment tour. However, the CD Consent to Treatment did not sell well, prompting Universal Records dissolved the contract in 2002 with the band. Then the band decided to continue the tour without label. In 2003 he produced the album History for Sale. There, his heavy metal influences in the song Somebody used, which gave the band a new contract with Universal came. For the 2006 released album Foiled Hudson wrote the music. Currently, Hudson is planning a private, jazz -related music project that Reflxblue to say.
