C. B. Milton

CB Milton ( Clarence Becker Milton, born April 11, 1968 in Suriname), also known as CB Milton, Clarence Bekker and Clarence, is a Dutch pop singer who became famous in the 1990s by some euro dance hits.

Biography

With six years of Clarence Becker Milton moved with his family from Suriname to Rotterdam. In 1985 he took part in the Soundmixshow Dutch television and reached with Do What You Do by Jermaine Jackson 3rd place. Two years later he became the youngest member of The Swinging Soul Machine, which he left again in 1990 to start a solo career.

1993 Milton got in touch with the Euro dance producers Peter Bauwens, Phil Wilde and Jean -Paul de Coster, who had just 2 Unlimited very successful. The subsequent collaboration brought forth the single Send Me an Angel, which became a Top 20 hit in the Netherlands. Two further extractions from the debut album, It's A Loving Thing and Hold On ( If You Believe in Love ), also made ​​it into the national charts. The title even placed in the UK charts.

Until 1998 published C.B. Milton two more albums, from which, inter alia, the singles A Real Love, Get Into My Life and Carry On were released. In collaboration with Mark van Dale in 2001 was the title Something Goin 'On. 2007 and 2009 appeared two singles by Tikaro, J. Louis & Ferran feat. Clarence (aka C.B. Milton ).
