C. Lorenz AG

The C. Lorenz AG was a German radio and telecommunications company headquartered in Berlin.

History

1880, Carl Lorenz in Berlin Telegrafenbauanstalt. The rapidly growing company introduced Morse apparatus and Streckenläutwerke ago for the railroad. 1890 took over the merchant Robert Held ( 1860-1924 ) of Lorenz's widow the company. This changed its name in 1906 as C. Lorenz AG. From 1908 first wireless transmission systems for the Imperial Navy and the German army to be built. Telegraphy

Radio and television technology

The technical focus in the 1920s was the radio technology. From 1919 first programs were broadcast from the radio station in attempt Eberswalde. After the Second World War

1945 establishments were dismantled by Lorenz and transported to the Soviet Union.
