C.F. União de Lamas

The Clube de Futebol União de de Lamas is a Portuguese football club from Santa Maria de Lamas near Aveiro. Besides football, the club still leads other departments in other sports such as athletics, swimming, taekwondo or hockey.

History

The club was founded in 1932 as União de Lamas Football Club. After several regional titles they managed in the season 1963/64, the first promotion to the Second Division. There, however, they could not last long, for it is only in the 90s of re- promotion to the Second Division. Today União Lamas plays in the Fourth Portuguese League (3rd Division Series C).
