C.R.D. Libolo

Clube Recreativo Desportivo do Libolo, better known by the acronym CRD Libolo, is an Angolan football club from the district of Libolo. He is based in the county town Calulo and plays in Girabola, the top division of Angola.

History

The club was founded on 15 August 1942 by the Portuguese in Libolo. After the independence movement and the subsequent Angolan Civil War (1975-2002), the club was re-founded in 2006. Football, basketball and karate were practicing sports. In the same year launched the professional football team in the second division of Angola. At the end of his second season in the second division, 2007, the CRD was in second place and got into the first division, the Girabola. His first season saw the CRD there in 2008 with the third place.
