Cabannes (crater)

Cabannes is an impact crater on the southern hemisphere of the moon back. At its southeastern edge joins the satellite crater ' Cabannes J' and connects it with the strongly scarred by the impact crater Berlage. Directly east of the crater close to Bellinsgauzen and to the south the great formation of the crater Antoniadi extends.

The rim of Cabannes has been eroded by subsequent impacts, and its southern boundary is overlaid by a small crater. Nevertheless, the formation was not significantly deformed by others subsequently formed crater.
