Cabeceiras

Cabeceiras is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Goiás in the mesoregion eastern Goiás and in the micro-region Entorno de Brasília. It is located west of the Brazilian capital Brasília and west-northwest of the capital, Goiânia.

The municipality also includes the villages of Cabeceira da Mata and Lagoa do Mato Grande.

  • To the east by Buritis (MG)
  • To the south by Unaí and Cabeceira Grande (both MG)

Cabeceiras is the only municipality in Goiás, which drained completely in the São Francisco Basin.
