Cabin

The concept cabin (of French cabine, from Old French cabane = hut ) denotes an enclosed space to the (temporary) residence of persons. Of particular importance to the safety of the people, a related term is safety cell.

The use is unsystematic, special cabins there

• In cars is also called passenger in the truck cab. A special form is the passenger safety cell.
