Collection
The collection includes approximately 520,000 coins and medals, some 35,000 art objects and a library of 80,000 titles. The most important piece of the collection is the so-called Grand Camée de France. One of the showpieces of the collection include the carved ivory figures Charlemagne, one of the greatest chess games of medieval Europe.
