Cabinet of Albania

The Government of the Republic of Albania (Albanian Qeveria e Republikës së Shqipërisë ), officially the Council of Ministers ( Alb. Këshilli i Mini Travelodge ), consists of the Prime Minister, his deputies and ministers. They pursued by any governmental function that does not revert to other state or local government organs.

Choice

The President of the Republic appoints the Prime Minister either at the beginning of the legislature or, if this office becomes vacant, the proposal from the party or coalition with the majority of seats in the Kuvendi i Shqipërisë. This candidate must be approved by the majority of Parliament then. If this does not happen three times in a row, the president dissolves parliament and new elections instead find it.

Prime minister

During the legislative period 2013-2017 is Edi Rama (PS ) Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania.

His deputy is Niko Peleshi (PS).
