Cabinet of North Korea

The Council of Ministers of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea under the Constitution takes on the function of the government of the country.

It is chaired by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers. This is since April 1, 2013 for the second time Pak Pong -ju ( WPK ). This is elected by the Supreme People's Assembly (parliament) and appoints the ministers.

Virtually all the key issues of the country by the National Defence Commission (NDC ) to decide whose chairman (Kim Jong- un) since the entry into force of the Sŏn'gun policy is the highest man in the state. The defense is not part of the Council of Ministers, but reports directly to the NDC.
