Cabot Corporation

The Cabot Corporation, also briefly Cabot, is a global industrial companies in the specialty chemicals industry. The headquarters is located in Boston ( Massachusetts, USA ) is produced at around 40 locations. The three German sites are Hanau, Frankfurt am Main and Rheinfelden (Baden).

The divisions of Cabot are "Carbon Black" (technical carbon blacks ), "Metal Oxides " (metal oxides), " Super Metals" ( Special Metals ) and "Specialty Fluids" ( special fluids ). Are manufactured, among other finely divided silica and aluminum oxides, aerogels, technical carbon blacks for the tire and rubber industry, plastic masterbatch, pigments for inkjet printing, special metals ( niobium, tantalum, etc.) and specialty fluids for deep drilling.
