Cacadu (English Cacadu District Municipality ) is located in the western part of the Eastern Cape Province in South Africa. Covering an area of 58,244 km ² live 450 584 inhabitants (as of 2011). The capital is Port Elizabeth.
Cacadu is a Xhosabegriff and describes the landscape, characterized by semi-arid plains and undulating hills, stretching down to the sea.
