Cacciucco
Cacciucco is a fish dish from the Tuscan city of Livorno. The soup is made of different kinds of fish, crustaceans and molluscs ( traditionally at least five, because the name contains five "C" ) were prepared. Normally it contains mussels, octopus, cuttlefish, mantis shrimps, dogfish, gurnard and scorpion fish. The fish are cooked in a tomato enriched with plenty of fish broth and served on a toasted, soaked with the broth slices of white bread. The flavors can be a young white wine or red wine.
