Cachapa

The Cachapa is a typical dish of Venezuela. It is of Indian origin. It is made of yellow corn, which is ground and mixed with milk or water, eggs, sugar, salt and oil until it becomes a dough. It is usually cooked on flat iron plates ( Budares ). It may be used alone or together with butter, cheese or many other combinations (such as Guasacacasalat from, inter alia, tomatoes and avocados ) eat the Cachapas. It is eaten at any time.
