Caconde is a city in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. With 18,552 inhabitants ( 2007 estimate ) and an area of ​​470.5 km ², the city is located about 290 km north of the capital São Paulo and is a popular spa and resort. Caconde located 860 meters above sea level on the border with Minas Gerais. It is surrounded by São José do Rio Pardo, Tapiratiba, Divinolândia, Muzambinho, Botelhos, Poços de Caldas and Cabo Verde.
