CADAM objects (Computer Augmented Drafting And Manufacturing) is a 1977 put on the market for CAD software. The product was developed by the American company Lockheed and was originally designed for IBM mainframes. Later could also Unix workstations are used. IBM sold the software to customers in the aerospace industry. In 1983, CADAM Inc. as an independent subsidiary of Lockheed Corp.. founded. A variant of CADAM, called Micro CADAM, ran well on personal computers under the DOS operating system.
