Cadeo

Cadeo is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6035 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Piacenza in Emilia -Romagna. The community is located about 13.5 kilometers southeast of Piacenza. The administrative center of the municipality is located in the district of Roveleto.

History

The name of the village comes from a field hospital, which was built in 1112 under the name La Casa del Dio.

Traffic

Through the village leads the Autostrada A1 from Milan to Rome. About running parallel to the Strada Statale 9 of Piacenza Emilia coming over Fidenza, Parma, Reggio Emilia to Bologna. In the district Roveleto lies on the railway line Milano -Bologna train stations.

Community partnership

Cadeo maintains a partnership with the community maltanesischen Marsaxlokk ( Marsa Scirocco ) in the region Malta Xlokk.
