Café co

The Café Co International Holding GmbH (proper spelling: café co) is an organization active in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe group of companies with headquarters in Vienna. Corporate purpose is the operation and service of self-service machines for hot drinks, cold drinks, snacks and confectionery as well as the keeping of operating restaurants.

History

The beginnings of today's Café Co group to the founding of the company catering Delikomat GmbH in 1972 and acquired in 1999 Vendare goods Handelsgesellschaft mbH in 1973 back. In the 1990s began with the expansion in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. This was followed by the acquisition of working in the business field for machines for smaller farm sizes Top Cup GmbH in 2000.

In 2000, all investments were consolidated under the Café Co International Holding newly established, expanded the company network up to Moscow today.

Café Co is a subsidiary of Leipnik - Lundenburger Invest Beteiligungs AG.

The Group has 63,000 vending machines in twelve countries, 21,500 of them in Austria. With more than 1,400 employees, an annual turnover of 163 million euros is achieved (as of 2013).

Products

Café Co is engaged in operation and service of espresso machines and vending machines for hot drinks, cold drinks, snacks and confectionery, as well as with the leadership of company restaurants. The fully automatic "Café Co - shops " are found in companies as well as in the public sector ( offices, hospitals and petrol stations). The focus is on coffee and cocoa drinks. In addition to coffee in standard versions have their own creations such as mocha cappuccino, and coffee drinks Chococino variations with flavors such as hazelnut, caramel and vanilla. Since 2006, specialty coffees for the upscale office supplies and events are offered in a special Premium-Line.

As trade goods the company sells, inter alia under the brand Café Co developed specifically for coffee beverages Barista milk coffee sugar with a slight vanilla flavor and tea.

Sustainability and social commitment

Since 2004, the group license partner of Fairtrade Austria and since 2009 partner of the Rainforest Alliance. Other product and supplier certificates in the program of Cafe Co are UTZ and 4C. The production of Fair Trade coffee line Best African is gradually moved to Uganda to build an even more direct reference to the manufacturers according to their own information. As another significant step in its sustainability program led Café Co 2013 cup with a share of natural resources. Currently, the share of alternative raw materials is in the cups used at ten percent and is to be increased in the next few years to up to 50 percent.

Café Co supports, among other aid projects, such as Caritas tomb with the action of coffee for the tomb, network Tyrol helps with the economy hike, Pink Ribbon by the Austrian Cancer Aid and various social projects in the Czech Republic and Slovenia, the subsidiaries resident in countries.

Since 2011, the Café Co International Holding supports the Judo Club Café Co samurai who in 2013 launched the award-winning project Ippon Girls to life in order to promote equal opportunities for girls with an immigrant background in sports.
