Café perjury was a German television series in the Bayerischer Rundfunk by Franz Xaver Bogner.

Between 1990 and 2003, 147 episodes emerged whose stories were based on real cases. The series was the death of the lead actor Erich Hallhuber an abrupt end. The last episode was titled Good Night, Munich!

Content

Café perjury is about the everyday life in the cafeteria and in the courtroom of a fictitious Munich Local Court. Director Bogner describes the situations in the courtroom with wit and often bizarre humor.

Central figure is the figure of the magistrate Heinz miracle ( Erich Huber Hall ). He is assisted by Norbert Mahler as a prosecutor Willi Kainz and Roswitha Haider ( Thekla Mayhoff ) as Recording Secretary. The soul embodies the cafeteria Kathi Leitner as lessee Hilde Dörfler.

For ordinary people involved were still Wolfi Fischer as sergeant Kogel, Christian Lerch ( policeman Karl Hermann) and Louise Kinseher, the bride of the prosecutor. Up to Episode 26 Jacques Breuer ruled as a judge Helmcke and the hostess said Olga Grüneis ( Monika Baumgartner ). In the episodes 40 to 65 Maxie Earl played the caretaker Wörndl.
