Cairo International Bank ( CIB) is a bank in Kampala, Uganda and is approved by the Central Bank of Uganda Bank.

The bank was founded in 1995 as a joint venture between Banque du Caire and Kato Aromatics. There were added in more partners, so that the units currently distributed to:

  • Banque du Caire ( 44.4 percent stake)
  • Bank of Alexandria
  • National Bank of Egypt
  • Banque Misr

In particular, the Kato Aromatics and its owner Dr. Ibrahim Kamel 've made some investments in Uganda.
